What an unlicensed assistant can do
The Virginia Real Estate Board (VREB) governs what is licensed vs. unlicensed activity.
Allowed activities include but are not limited to: general clerical duties, place signs and/or keyboxes on a property, and input and edit listings in the MLS System (with Broker's permission).
Prohibited activities include but are not limited to: showing property, holding an open house, and answering questions about listings, contracts, financing, etc.
