Associate uploaded documents to a listing in the MLS using Instanet

Once a document has been uploaded to the Documents widget, it will display with an empty (white) star by default. The document is currently set for Private storage, meaning only you can see it, unless action is taken.

To make a document viewable on a listing: Click the hollow, blue star and choose the appropriate document title (with LIST at the end) from the drop down menu. Most of the titles have preset system permissions as safe-guards to prevent you from sharing confidential documents such as the Standard Listing Agreement (SLA). However, you must select “MLS Agent View” in order to make documents such as LEAD, AICUZ and DPOR visible to other members of the MLS. Click the blue "Update" button when finished. Please confirm all appropriate documents that need to be visible on the MLS have fully shaded blue stars before moving on to the next transaction or your next task.

To unlink or remove a document from being viewable on a listing: Click the fully shaded blue star for the document you want to unlink. When the pop-up window appears, change the radio button to "Private" and click "Update" to revert back to a hollow, blue star. Remember, documents with hollow, blue stars will not be viewable to members of the MLS.

If you wish to delete a document, click the stop light icon located to the right of the document name, and choose Delete. Remember, the stop light icon can also be used to preview or download the document, email or fax the document using the send option, copy or move to another location, slice the document or use the markup tools, revise the document, add notes, and display a history of the document. To delete multiple documents at one time, click in the empty circle for each document you want to delete and it will add them to the basket. Click the basket icon and select the trash can icon to the far right in the pop out window. Click the blue Yes button to delete.
